Impressions: Santorini - on a boat trip #4

2/3 des unteren Bildes sind weiß. Es war kurz vor dem Sonnenuntergang. Die Bilder dazu muss ich noch bearbeiten. Dazu muss ich mich noch durchringen, weil es so viele Bilder sind und ich am Donnerstag wieder in den Urlaub fahre. Nach Hamburg, wuhuuu!! Für die Zeit will ich ein paar Bilder-Posts vorbereiten und auch ein neues Muffin Rezept. Habt einen schönen Abend! Bisous, Luu

Impressions: Santorini - on a boat trip #3

I discovered an option to take pictures in almost "black and white", it's more like in the pictures in all newspapers. It was so fun! The picture below was the inversion in the water (of a big red-and-white-and-black boat). Die vertikalen Einschlüsse sind bei einem Vulkanausbruch entstanden. Das Gestein hat die Spalten dann wieder verschlossen. Sah unglaublich toll aus, wegen den vielen verschieden farbigen Steinschichten!
Das 2. Bild finde ich persönlich sehr toll, wegen den Farben! Noch ein Teil von der Boot tour wird folgen!

Impressions: Santorini - on a boat trip #1

Lying on a canvas chair and enjoying the sun and heat is great. But going around and discover new things is even better. During our week in Greece we participated in 2 guided tours and we made one trip on our own to Fira, the capital of Santorini. This post is about our first guided trip. We went ta a vulcano and walked to the top of it. Then we went swimming in the hot spring (as you can see in the first two pictures). The water was about 5-10°C warmer and red/brown (because of the iron and other minearal particles). 
Afterwards we went to an isle where only 300 people live. We went to a restaurant called Captain John. The food was delicious and the view was fantastic. And then we watched the sun going down (you'll see this next time).

The next post will be about the boat trip, too. So Now I'm watching "Sieben Jahre in Tibet". I also baked some "PB and Chocolate Chip Muffins". Have a nice day and evening! Bisous, Luu

Impressions: Santorini, Greece

Ich bin nun wieder zurück. Ein bisschen bin ich braub geworden. Ein bisschen anstrengend war es aber auch, denn morgens sind wir bei 30° aufgewacht ( 8:00 Uhr) und an den wärmsten Tagen hatte es über 45° und vielleicht sogar 50°. Wenn es Wind gab, war es sehr angenehm. Allerdings sind dabei auch oft Polster und Handtücher durch die Gegend geflogen. Alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub! Tolles Wetter, Meer, Sonne, Steinstrand, Pool, Cocktails.... das Essen hat den anderen 3 gut geschmeckt, nur ich habe mich sozusagen von frittierter Zucchini, Pommes, Kartoffeln und Pita-Brot ernährt.

I'm back from Santorini ( Greece) and it was really good! Sea, Cocktails, Beach, Pool, ....

Hier sind schon einmal ein paar kleine Eindrücke:

( 1: heiße Quellen mit schwefelhaltigem, eisenhaltigen Wasser/ 2: abgesetztes Eisen am Stein/ 3: verschiedene Steinschichten/ 4: unscharfe, bunte Boote)

Die Farben waren so unglaublich toll! Und so viele tolle Motive gab es. Allein dafür hätte es sich gelohnt noch länger dort zu bleiben! Es werden noch viele Bilder folgen. Ich werde dazu mehrere "Titel" wählen (z.B. Sonne und Sonnenuntergang; Cocktails; Farben; etc.)
