Beautiful Packaging Inspiration #1 - Geschenkverpackungen aus Packpapier

Ich bin ein großer Fan von schönen Verpackungen. Ob es jetzt nun von einem Parfüm oder einer Schachtel Süßigkeiten ist. Schon als kleines Kind habe ich mich über Geschenke in schönem Geschenkpapier gefreut. Ich habe dann immer ganz vorsichtig alle Tesa-Streifen vom Papier gelöst und versucht, das schöne Papier nicht zu beschädigen. Danach habe ich es immer sauber gefaltet und aufgehoben. Wenn ich etwas verschenke, packe ich auch immer sehr gerne alles selbst ein. Doch seitdem ich nicht mehr bei meinen Eltern wohne, hält sich mein Geschenkpapier Vorrat sehr in Grenzen. Darum habe ich mir mal ein paar Rollen Packpapier gekauft, da man damit so viele schöne Geschenkverpackungen machen kann. Außerdem kann man daraus auch ganz einfach einen großen Briefumschlag machen oder eine Versandtasche. 

"Beautiful Packaging Inspiration" wird eine neue kleine Reihe, zu der ich regelmäßig zu verschiedenen Themen/Anlässen und Materialien etwas posten werde. Diese Serie hat auch ein eigenes Label "Beautiful Packaging" bekommen, unter dem ihr später alle geposteten Beiträge dazu finden werdet.

Fascination: modern architecture

DE: Ich bin total fasziniert von moderner Architektur! All das Glas, große Fenster, rechte Winkel, Holz, weiß, schwarz, Stahl, flache Dächer, Beton, Licht, Terrassen, Wasser. Eine Zeit lang hatte ich mir sogar überlegt, es zu studieren. Denselben Plan hatte ich allerdings auch bei Innenarchitektur und Fotografie. Bei Fotografie bin ich mir immer noch nicht sicher. Ich werde wohl noch ein Praktikum in die Richtung machen müssen. Aber erstmal mache ich ein Praktikum in der Schneiderei.

Trotzdem kann ich mir stundenlang Bilder und Artikel von Gebäuden, Objekten und Fotografien anschauen. Sie machen mich glücklicher und fröhlicher und zeigen mir, was man alles machen und schaffen kann! Was ist eure große Leidenschaft(en)?

EN: I'm so fascinated of modern architecture! A lot of glass, huge windows, many corners, wood, white, black, steel, flat roofs, concrete, light, terraces, water. I love to look at pictures of buildings, objects and photography! They make me happier and cheerfuller. They show me what you can do and reach!

Things I love this week

Hm. summer is the best time for iced smoothies! I drank so much the last few days. They're so easy to make: put some pieces of any fruit/ fruit juice, ice cubes, coconut creme or anythingyou like together in a blender. Mix it and enjoy it!

Besides smoothies I also love strawberries and every baked good (cakes, muffins, cookie balls, etc).
These days had been so stressful and I still have to do some (important) things for school. I'll make a presenation about plastic (recycling and manufacturing), write a physics classtest and have to draw some pictures.

I write lovely letters

Vor einigen Tagen habe ich einen wundervollen Brief aus Canada bekommen. Durch das Lovely Letter Projekt habe ich Kaitlyn kennengelernt. Und diese schönen handschriftlichen Briefe sind einfach wunderbar! Ich freue mich auf mehr:

inspiration and school stuff

This afternoon I've a headache and to get rid of it i tried to sleep a little bit, but then i slept for about 3 hours and now i'm not tired enough to go to bed. Unfortunately. 'cause I'll practice with our choir at school. So I need to get up about nine o'clock. Even I've had a quite long day at school and wrote a classtest, I'm still relaxed, because after this test I will only have to do the maths test next week and then this school semester is almost finished (then I'll have 3 ones more and my leaving school examination!).
Tomorrow my boyfriend is coming to me again. We'll spend the weekend together (although i actually need to practice for the test). It's going to be great, because time with him always is! And time with him is even better every from day to day and week to month. Love's in the air ;)

inspiring

Today we celebrated our christmas party from our ballett course. We ate christmassy cookies and watched some ballett videos and documentations. It was so great to see these amazing dancers living for what they love. They travelled around and on their tour they didn't earn money. They just dance and in some times even food was quite rare.
I hope to discover soon what my big passion is. Well, I love ballett, drawing, sewing, baking, rearrange my room or rooms. But none of these things can bring me up and motivate so much that i even want to do it when my mood is as bad as a stormy winter evening. But maybe it's just a phase and it will end when the weather gets better...

love to lace, lost the dream last night

Time goes by so quickly and i don't know what to do. I'm sitting here around and thinking too much, feeling tired and sad. I need something to dream of, to work for and investing all my spare free time. I need something really good for motivation because otherwise i won't get myself out of this demotivation and boredom. I don't know why, but sewing isn't enough at the moment.... well, maybe enough, but i can't pick myself up every free minute i'm simply doing anything...
But I've that great green lace and i bought some thread, so i want to sew a shirt or blouse (maybe like the one at the last photo).
